How long till I know no hairs will emerge

I have 10 plants growing now from a mix bag special online the one that I am almost positive is a maple leaf indica starting showing distinct bud sites about 1 week into flowering which surprised me and now about 2 days ago i could see balls where the shoots meet the stem however they are not hanging off as an obvious male and there is not any pistils to show female I have 9 others that definately seem to be more sativa that haven't started anything yet which I expected but I was wondering how long I should have to wait to know because like i said the balls and bud sites themselves are very defined.

Well, males flower about a week and a half earlier than females. Keep that in mind.

yes thanks I just looked again and I can't believe I didn't know it was male I think I just didn't want it to be so badly that I pretended I couldn't tell :jointsmile:

If it is on a little stalk, and starts to flop over, it's never going to grow pistils, because it's a male.
I can't wait to see maple leaf indica pics. That's one of the strains on my wish list still.

I have one more maple leaf that is going into flower soon so hopefully it won't be male too because my first was that is the one i was writing about.
I was in denial and didn't want to except a male ;)

I hope you save 'backup' seeds from this run! You can't find that strain ANYWHERE.
