What is the best way to store pollen and how long is it good for?

I've heard to store it in a bit of flour, and a cool dark place (fridge?) ... and, I heard it can keep for a month like that, but I have never tried, so take it for what it's worth ... ;)

ive heard different legnths of storage from 4 months to over a yr and a half(read they had success multiple times).
cool dark place ive heard most people say freezer or fruit section in fridge
in sealable gram vials, i just bought 20 brown 1 gram vials to store my pollen
and if it were me i would put the vials in tuppoware with a substance in the tuppoware to collect the moisture
