I was in Camden Town Yesterday after work and started asking around Head Shops where I could get some ganja. I havn't had the best luck so far here in London. So one man tells me to head down to the bridge and ask around there. Well I find this guy who tells me he can get me an eighth for 20 pounds. I'm pretty impressed and ask to see the bud.
This is where shit goes crazy. He pulls out a sack that looks like 3g's. I was ok with getting shorted a half gram as long as I could get it. The bud looks like some decent mids. So I pull out my money. Bad Idea. He grabs my cash and pushes me to the ground and runs off into a crowd of gangsters. Now I'm not really a tough guy at all. So I just kinda walked away in shame.
I feel like a pansy.

Because hes a tourist in england and knows no one to get weed from but he could easily get a gun in america because they are legal, but I see what you're saying though lol.

let me ask you, have you ever shot a gun, at a human sized target/object? i find that everyone who hasn't shot one seems to think it's impossible to miss a target even at close range, but that couldn't be anymore wrong...
when you fire the gun it has recoil, what makes you a good shot is being able to judge that recoil, becuase the gun is going to raise up a bit before the bullet even leaves the barrel, especially in pistols.... some have a compensator, but most don't (compensator uses the gas from the blast to push the gun back down, making it more accurate)
now with something as small as .32 it ain't gonna have awhole lot of bullets to work with... 10, or less i'd imagine...
that's where the whole gang part i mentioned becomes relevant... even if you shot each person in the head per bullet in your magazine, you're going to have every other one that isn't shot, beating your ass and putting you in the hospital, or worse....
but then that's even ifyou're lucky enough to run across an entire gang that isn't carrying a gun among them... would you really pull the trigger when you got even more artillery pointed at you? honestly? by the time you fire one shot you'll be shot at 4-5 times atleast....
like i said, beat your ass and take your gun...
not to mention a .32 isn't all that intimidating anyways... if you wanna work on intimidation alone you're gonna have to up the caliber quite a bit....
so i'll repeat what i said.... pulling out a gun in that situation or even trying to fight, would of made you an idiot...

It's best not to look for weed in Camden. Buying the stuff to smoke it with is great, but as for weed, it's a no no.
Sadly theres lots of idiots looking to rip people off, and because Camden is so well known for weed, the majority are around there.
Try looking for slightly older people, ones who dont look like the type to rip you off [normally, they're not]
I hope you can get sorted out with some GOOD stuff soon man.

Do you not know anybody who works with you who smokes weed? They would proberly know a reliable dealer who could sort you out. It is much safer and easier to buy off someone who sells out of there house/flat than someone who sells off the street.

B- it happens to us all at least once. When it happened to me, I just bitched about it to some "borderline" friends who knew some very unsavory people- and had big mouths. They all though it a shame that a fine upstanding lady like myself was ripped off, but did nothing- then.
About 6 months later, the dude who ripped me off was dead. He had also ripped off one of those "unsavory people". His death was not pleasant. I wonder if my complaining had anything to do with the awfulness of his death? But there is nothing I can do about that. Eventually, your guy will rip off the wrong dude and pay the price.

same kinda thing happened to my grandparents only it wasn't over drugs.... this dude was just a con artist... at the time he was a bum and living under a bridge, he told them (my grandpa really, my grandma didn't like it one bit but went along with it) his dad was some rich man and he had just died and he was about to get alot of money and he wanted to start up a buisness, but he needed them to set up a bank account in his name or soemthing simliar so he could get paid becuase it was out of state... (the whole thing was so obviously bullshit, but my grandpa had just got fired from his actual job and they were getting desperate for money, which is why i suspect they bought it) and he'd pay them back everything they gave him, plus go half in half in a partnership for this new buisness....
long story short it went on for months and months, maybe even a year or so.... before my grandpa finally lost it on him and wanted to kill him, himself....
couple weeks later he was found dead under a bridge, it appeared that he had jumped in the river/creek and hit his head on a rock, but there's no way that happpened becuase he was scared shitless of that water... it was severely snake infested... he woudln't go near it... someone hit his ass over the head with a rock and threw him in the river... my grandma thinks he scammed the wrong person.... i still wonder if it that 'wrong person' just happens to be my granpa..... anyways his death was ruled accident/suicide but anyone that knew him for longer then a day would know there's no way he jumped in that water.

Ha! I'm plotting no revenge. It's more depressing than anything. I don't mind losing the 20 quid. It's more the psychological aspect of it.
Fuck guns man. I dont't care about shooting those hoodlums but more about the Authorities after. Fuck jail. I'm never going back.

I know, it's a shame. Those tossers give weed a bad name - but again, it's only because it's illegal. If it wasnt, this wouldnt happen, same as contamination wouldnt exsist, prices would be cheaper and we could get as much as we like, when we like.
But yeah, coz Camden is so well known for weed all the rip off merchants tend to stay around that area - like the guys shouting skunk weed everywhere around the market.

I guess I'm lucky enough to look like a complete psycho and I have been told that I am intimidating because of my height and build (I am a 6'2 ex Thai boxer ) so not many people ever try it on with me. I have been threatened with knives and guns in my time and the secret is to stay cool and if you can just walk away until you see the chance for retribution. The funniest was a phone call when I was living in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Some guy rang the house I shared with 4 other guys and asked for me, I took the call and some guy said "I'm coming round to blow you away man, you been fuckin' my girl so get ready to die". I thought it was my mate Chris at first and laghed and said "c'mon Chris stop pulling my pud dude ,, I know it's you". Just at that mo Chris came walking in and of course I realised it couldn't be him, I then decided to call the guys bluff and told him "hey man you come round because I have a lovely brand new 45 waiting here to put one straight through your freekin head"", "you wanna see if your shotgun is better than my 45 feel free to come round". Funnily enough the guy never showed but to this day I don't know wether it was a wind up or for real.
Cities are funny places.
