alright peps i thought this would be a good thread to start i assume there isnt onelike it already cos i havnt ever seen one
basically i thought we could all post pics an specs of our grow room/ cab/ spaces etc i thought itd be good for the noobs to if they need to see a simple setup or a more complex hydro setup then its all in one thread instead of having to track down everyones grow logs to see if theyve mentioned wot their using
il start with my setup which was recently upgraded to a built in enclosure in a utitlity room this space was already here when we moved in all so i had to do is fit some doors to the front.
the space dimensions are :
width- 95cm X depth-70cm X height-150cm
quit a small area but i can comfortalby fit 10-12 plants at full maturity keeping the height to around 2-3 ft per plant an not too bushy
i have installed an RVK 100 lti extractor fan. as u can see in the pics i havnt got any ducting inside or from the extraction fan jus drilled a 4" hole an sat it in the top, this was mainly to save space an works perfectly
i have also installed an air intake fan on the far right door which i dismantled from my air hockey table, this has 4" ducting running out of the window. this may be upgraded soon to a dedicated intake fan as its a bit noisy. ive also got a 6" fan for air circ.
im using one 600w hps light for veg an flower phase its a growlux lamp so will adequetly handle both stages
im not growing hydro but instead am using 100% canna coco along with the range of canna nutes an additives the pot sizes are only 2.5 litre as my plants are staying small
at the moment im growing a mixture of 7 lowryders, 3 ultra skunks, 7 white rhino, and 5 top44. sounds like a lot considering the space but il have a few lowryder males an top44 males the white rhino an ultra skunk are feminised
but il keep u updated on those in a seperate thread.
heres some pics of me setup.

I'm almost embarrassed to post a pic of my poor little 'grow-shack' (2'x4'x7'), but wonderful things still manage to happen here  ...

Great idea for a thread!

IR...your setup looks more professional than mine. I do have a couple of small changes in the works though--hehehe. The dimensions are 3'10" x 12' total--growing space is kept to 3'10'' x 8' for room to have the window a/c unit and storage at the near end.

With three 400 watters the room HAD to have a/c, especially since I'm running them right now with the ballasts attached. However the advantage to the a/c obviously, is I get finer environmental control than I'd have without it.

Proposed changes: Big Ones! That's all I'm gonna say for now. It'll be a little while in coming, but it IS coming. I'm just not satisfied with having NO room to work in there. But it does grow weed as you can see:D.

when I get over my current laziness :S5: , I'm building a new cabinet ... if I do it a bit differently, I can gain about 5" in width and 5" depth, in the same floorspace ... I need a major ventilation improvement, too ... plus, I'm painting the next cabinet flat-white, like the old days :wtf: ... the Mylar has been a pain in the ass to keep clean, and a recent 'reflectivity test' I did on it, revealed I had better results with flatwhite (the Mylar 'fogs' over time, mostly from cleaning:() ...

i just have an extra room that i through a light up in with a blower circulating the air and a blower hooked up to a carbon filter cleaning the air. it exhausts right back into the room! so simple but it produces pretty well currently just one 600 watter up.

there is a pic of my little veg cab

and here is a pic of the wood i cut yesterday for my flower cab
the flower will be 6'h x 46"l x 3'w, im goin to cut the 2x4s today. also have a pic of the closet my flower cab is goin into

awhile back i saw a thread talkin about closet growin and talkin about seeing an extention cord goin into the closet. when they were remodeling my house i asked the builder to put a plug in the closet so my wife could put a plug in airfreshner in the closet to keep our clothes smelling fresh

and i have 1 or 2 more to make 1 for drying bud and 1 for clones

this is a great thread and if enough people post good info on their cab/closets then i think it should be a sticky

pretty much just put together my 600watt stoner flowering cab. i just lack painting white and putting the last face on it with doors.

the cab is so big compared to the closet i screwed 3 sides to the wall. it just sits right under 6'h x 4'l x 3'w

all i used was saw zaw, drill, tape measure, 2x4, ply, 3" & 1.5" sheetrock screws, some power grab, and foam weatherstrip for the improfections

hopefully nolonger than the end of the week ill have my 6" vortex fan and ill beable to put the finishing touches on the cab and give it a trial heat and humidity run.
