Wasnt expecting this...

I just got some bud that was extremly seedy(~5 per bud), very dry, very faded green color, and it doesnt smell much at all. But I finally broke enough off of the seeds to pack a bowl and I am BLITZED right now. I thought for sure it was shit bud, but I guess I was wrong. Can't judge a book by its cover, right?

same shit happened to me today. i usually get seedless dank buds but today i scored about 2.5 grams (eyeballed) today fo freeeee haha i thought it would suck but it rocked. i guess it's cause it was a different strain and i hadn't built up a tolerance.

Ya, I buy in the ghetto, $40 for 1/4o (7 grams) and yea, i prolly get 4 seeds in breaking up enough bud for about a jay, i suppose. So I think I know what kind of bud you guys are talking about. A lot of pot schnobs on here would make fun of people for buying erb like that, as i have had a friend or 2 in the downtown area make fun as well.
However, not only is each individual's financial situation different, but also each individual's reasons for smoking as well. The cheap bud I buy is commercial mids, I suppose, and is thus indica, and prolly has a moderate to low thc content, say perhaps (4-10% I am just guessing). However, I know bud such as this has a higher content of other cannabinoids, such as CDB. High levels of CBD are what induce the more depressant-like effects of tokin'. I use, medicinally, for chronic insomnia, thus explaining why what I buy (and what I spend) works for me individually.
Anyway, give my humble opinion of your experience, I agree that it is the lower tolerance from not smoking this bud before. Are you feeling couch-locked or more energetic? I'm thinking prolly not the latter, commercial bud with seeds as you described, is usually indica, at least what i get anyway. If you are used to smoking sativa, and this is indica, that could definitely be the reason you are feeling so well. :)

Your probally right. If I smoke enough of this stuff the room will start spinning. Kinda like when you drunk. That doesnt usually happen to me either.
