grinder questions

can you put the ground up tweed in a blunt or does that not work well? also can i use a 4 peice grinder to start making hash instead of one of those boxes? i'm pretty ignorant when it comes to grinders cause i usually just break it up my self. i don't see any benefits from one but that's probably cause i've never used one. can yall give me some guidance please? :D

I hate breaking my weed with my fingers , i use scissors if its a bit sticky and a 'crystal catcher' grinder if its dry !!

I've not tried smoking tweed yet, although I have had a little tartan, and once I burned some denim, but only because I fell asleep and the joint singed a hole in my jeans.

Of course you can put ground-up weed in a blunt. Would you expect to put a whole nug in a blunt and smoke it? Just curious, that's all.

If you get a good grinder, it will grind it up into mostly-even pieces. This means it all burns on the same level, for the most part. That along with rolling a good blunt means an even better blunt, or joint.

Yes, grinders are great. It's a lot quicker, too! And if you get one with a kief-catcher, after awhile you'll have some kief to sprinkle on the bud too. Or, if you let it go long enough, you could have enough to press and make into some hash. So yes, it's a good thing, with more than one possible benefit.

he was right

get a good metal grinder off of ebay and you'll see why everyone has em. make sure you get a kief catcher. smoking a joint of kief will make you nut your pants.

haha cool guys, thanks. btw "tweed" is just something that my friends and i call weed cause, well it's a long story, maybe when i'm bored. i just didn't know if it would fall out of the end of a blunt (i use blunts 95% of the time) cause it's smaller pieces. also i usually get sticky weed and i was wondering if this affects the grinder at all.

Moist sticky weed probably wont grind up very well. You'll find it'll turn into little tiny HARD balls that burn terribly.

i think sticky weed still breaks up in a grinder better than with hands. if you get a nice grinder with a lot of teeth (see the chromium crusher post i made), i guarantee it will break it up better than your hands. plus you get all the kief!

i just got a grinder for 15 bucks 2 days ago. its sweet cause it has a kief catcher, but the wholes are too fuckin big! it still grinds the weed but i could get it smaller with my fingers. what the hells the point of that? hah

well i ordered a trueblendz 4 peice earlier today. it looked good compared to alot of other ones so i got it.

Like others said, youll like it....Its a lot cleaner and faster and easier......just a few turns and out comes nicely ground weed.......believe it or not, breaking it up with your fingers can make it lose some THC content because THC doesn't like being touched:jointsmile:

If it's sticky and damp, then it will do what LIP said.
If it's sticky and dry as a bone, no problem. It will grind nicer than anyone could sit there and break it up.
