I harvested 1 of my girls early, when the trichs were clear and few cloudy to experiment. I hung her for a few days and she is now in jars. I took a bud out and scoped it and saw that I now had some amber trichs. Do they change color when they are dried or did I just miss them when I first checked them? One more question, my buds are in jars and they seem to be very, very dry. Are they supposed to be? Was I suuposed to do something else to them? I hung for 4 days, trimmed, and jard. They just seem to be very, very dry. I had a fan going while they hung, but not directly on them. thanks

put an orange peel in the jar to re hydrate them. when curing they need (some) moisture< you dont want them to be totally dry.

Can I just sprinkle a little water on them?

yeah but do it slowly.. you dont want soggy buds.. just wet ur hands and sprinkle the water on it that way and seal the jar for an hour or two. Don't use a orange peel... this will affect the smell and takes away from the integrity of the buds.

Thanks Earthydank. Can you answer the other question for me about the trichs? And what do I do wrong concerning the buds being so dry? I let them hang for 4 days, was that too long for such a small amount. 1 4ft plant is all it was. About an ounce of dry bud, I guess.

Ooops my bad, i read that on cancom about putting an orange peel or apple it might suck up some of the smell though. Maybe a fine mist of water would be better!
I do know that you dont want it totally dry when curing.
At least i got that part right. Good luck!
