What do you think of the latest album by the Foo Fighters?

I think it's a good album. Nothing classic or nothing great. Just a good album. The thing with the Foo Fighters is that, in my opinion, a lot of their material sounds alike in the way that they always follow the same style and don't change it up a bit.. Nothing original or groundbreaking on the album. Starts strong and slowly goes downhill from there.

Studs:

The Pretender
Let it Die
Erase Replace
Long Road to Ruin
Come alive
Stranger things have happened
Statutes

Duds:

Cheer up boys, your makeup is running
Summer's End
The Ballad of the Beaconsfield Miners
But Honestly
Home (way too slow to end an album)

i personaly wasn't very impressed. after these last album the two part one with the whole acoustic side... damn that album was something. this one as you put it nothing ground breaking or even any really good singles to compare with pervious albums

I love this album I think it's awesome, much better than the last album. I think you should get Skin and Bones, their acoustic live album, any stoner would appreciate it I promise! It's got awesome acoustic versions of classic tracks like Big Me, My Hero, Everlong, Walking After You, Next Year etc. Honestly it's an awesome album to chill with.
