Okay, so this movie is two years old, but I just watched it tonight.
This is probably the first movie I've ever seen where I had no idea what the fuck was going on most of the time. I mean, there was kind of a plot, but then there were scenes that just seemed to happen completely out of context, zero character development, some of the most ridiculous fight scenes I've ever seen (especially the one at the end where he spends literally five minutes just breaking limbs over and over) and a wierd-ass CGI fight that didn't seem to serve any purpose... I'm still trying to figure out what the deal was with the transgender crime heiress. After Ong Bak I was at least hoping for Tony Jaa to do something fun and stupid, not stupid and incomprehensible. :wtf:
I'll give it props for the Capoeira fight and the four-minute single-shot fight that goes up a four-story building, though. That was pretty cool.
