i was just wondering if anyone knew of any correllation between the two. im 18 years old and got stuck with shitty genes and notice i have a receeding hairline/MPB.
it seems like smoking would make it worse but ive also heard that THC reduces the amount of DHT (which is responsible for MPB)

Wtf? Ur saying that smoking weed will effect your hair?......lol ive never heard of herb doing anything to your hair.....chill out :jointsmile:

Smoking effects your health. herb or not. Can thin blood - broken blood vessels show more when smoking and vessels themselves can thin and are more likely to break. Hair can be an indicator of overall health. My hair has felt thinner a week or two after coming down with a bad case of the flu.

Like mikeyjo said, hair is an indicator of general health, but sometimes you just have shitty genes. If you're going bald, you're going bald - I had a friend who went bald at 18 as well, he just shaved his head entirely, and it worked. Give that a shot if you're feeling daring.

lol well its just at the beginning stage, definately no need to shave my head. I know its just the shitty genes, but its also still a possibility that weed makes it worse :p

hit the gym and do some deadlifts. then eat 10 oysters on the half shell.
