It is really up to the grower. Personally, I like soil. Hydro and Aero are both excellent, but the myth that they produce higher potency is just a myth, so I wouldn't put them in a "higher" category than soil, or any other medium / method for that matter (the "Dro" slang for "potent" street bud is one of my pet peeves - bud grown poorly in hydro is just as bad as bud grown poorly in soil).

Anyway - both aero and hydro offer advantages to those growing indoors obviously. Aero is usually a little trickier to set up and maintain, and for that reason I would say someone should only venture into aero after becoming familiar with hydro. Aero is also more expensive, and you can't rig up a DIY nearly as easily as say a DWC hydro. Aside from those factors, a good aero setup can be slightly higher yielding than hydro if run at peak efficiency. Sorry if that is not a lot of help, but other than examining what differentiates them (not much), there isn't really anything to say as far as one is better than the other.

I would go with the cheaper method, either way, because if you don't like it wanna try something out its an easy fix. 9 times out of 10 your going to try to make each season better then the last.

One thing is know matter what the potency of THC would be the same grown through soil, hydro, and aero. It depends on the genetics not the care to get a potent plant. Though the growing type determines taste, yield, lushness, and much more. I would definately if given a choice would go with hydroponics.

This is really advice to disregard in every aspect (PC, reap, stink - any input?). You can have the best genetics in the world, but if you don't take care of the plant, it dies. Even if it survives, it will yield almost nothing and you won't harvest at the right time if you aren't taking care of it which will send even the best genetics down the tubes. I have seen bagseed grows end up far more potent than lazy high end genetic grows. The ratio is about 20-40% genetics, 60-80% time and energy invested in the grow (ruderalis and ditchweed don't count).
