I envy you. The last time I fished for sea bass was 20 years ago in the Pacific. Limited out in no time. 10-15 pounders, taisty firm white meat. Caught a ling cod that day mayby 14 lbs. I fish every chance get, and have fished in most of the US including Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, Asia etc. It's good to know that there is another fisherman on this site. That's a good looking 4 pounder, good eatin' size.

God I love fishing, of course I never take what I catch home because our town river is so polluted...im surprised fish actually live there. Nice catch, always good to cook something you've caught yourself.

i go surf casting a few times a month this year and havent caught a damn thing, and the only time we got something the line snapped from a weak leader a few seconds after it was hooked.
still though nothing beats smoking a bone on the beach and enjoying the sun and waves.
