sooooooo, i am going to be facing the dreaded UA sometime in the next week or so...about three years ago, i was lurking here preparing for a pre-employment...based on what i saw here, i fully planned on subbing...after days of walking around with visene bottles in the bra and vag, taking temps and practicing opening the bottles silently i was ready..the day of the test, i took my sister's "perfect pee" and went on my way...to my surprise my new employer was very "cutting edge" and they did the oral swab test...well i thought i was screwed since i had smoked that morning...well by the grace of god when the nurse turned on the light for me to wash my hands, so i could administer my own oral swab, the lightbulb exploded...while she went to get a broom, i scanned the bathroom counter and took a quick swig of rubbing alcohol..i didn't get enough of a sample, so they had me re-test about a week later, of course i was ready that time....

now here we are today, three years later...a wonderful new opportunity has come into my path..this time i am positive it's a UA, i once again plan on subbing..however, to pay "homage" to the drug test, i have not smoked in over a week, and even did a coffee enema (which worked pefectly in my youth to detox, but not so much now that i am older)..well i took a practice pee and am still dirty...on the day of the test my husband (non smoker) has offered to go with me and when we find a gas station close to the testing office he is going to give me a sample...i will once again fill my visene bottles with the temp monitor on the side, crotch it, and go...i just need a few people to rest my nerves (remeber i haven't smoked in over a week) and give me the confidence its going to be allright...

so tomorrow's the day..the test is at Quest labs, and the test type is 1793N SAP 9-50 GC/MS What does this mean??? As far as temps, the bottle i have in the vag is staying at a nice balmy 97degrees, however, the bra one seem to drop to about 95 degrees. any advice on how to get the temp up? or should the combo of the two work fine????

i am really ready to get this over with, my cousin said i am getting a bit obsessed with all the research, but i was forced to put in notice at my other job in order to start this one when they want me to, so i am really putting all my eggs in one basket, so the pressure is on a bit... i did get a little confidence from a LA Ink ad for next week where Jenna Jamison is getting a tat saying "I am not scared, I was born for this" a quote from Joan of Ark..so i will just tell myself that through this process...

They are probably testing for 9 drugs of abuse and using the 50 ng/ml cutoff level for THC, which is the usual, most common cutoff used. The temp can be between 90-100 so 97 and 95 are more than good. Use 2 ounces if you sub.

I just wanted to mention once in a emergency situation My sample was not quite up to temperature so I quietly rubbed My finger on My pants till it got warm and pressed it (not too hard) on the temperature strip on the side of the sample. It took three rubs to hit 98.

If You temp is coming in at 95 to 97 I would not mess with it. After You get this job don't forget to buy two bottles of Quick Fix for future tests.

well, the dt experience was not at all unpleasent...in my head i totally built it up, and the whole thing took about five minutes. the lady at quest was very nice, and even had me fill out a customer service questionaire where one of the questions was "were you given privacy".....i felt sooooo good after i left, and went home and made up for lost time...

yesterday i got a call from my new employer that my test came back "negative dilute", so i have to go back monday...what was weird, is the hubby wasn't really trying to "drink too much" and i used his second pee of the day.. i set my monday appointment for first thing in the morning so i can use his first of day pee, i am not stressed about it at all, i can now see this is all a game and i just have to "jump through the hoops"...

thanks sooooo much for all your help here, especially you FBR, y'all were spot on about the whole deal...

i look forward to spending more time on these forums, hell, maybe now i can get myself out of the DT section....

i have a bottle of quick fix 4.0, i bought it about six months ago, do you think it is still good?, and ole Quest hasn't "caught on" to my batch?...that was the only thing that worried me about using it..as you can see from my history i have some weird karma in the whole dt game...

Its supposed to last for up to 1 year.Theres no impurities in it so it should be fine.

i have a bottle of quick fix 4.0, i bought it about six months ago, do you think it is still good? If you have any doubts about its condition, you can always test the batch at home. Do a Google search for Drug Adulteration Test Kits. These are essentially the same kits the labs use when checking the creatinine, specific gravity, pH, etc... If the batch tests good at home, its ready for the lab Nazis.
The shelf life of the 'Fix is 18-24 months. The shelf life begins on the manufacturing date, which is printed on the enclosed directions sheet, disguised under an alphanumeric batch code.
(Example: F10C-07 = Oct 2007)

Batches that are bad can be exchanged for a replacement at Spectrum Labs, even if it was purchased at a headshop.

It should be 4.0. It has a shelf life of about a 2 years, I think but I'm not sure. I am looking on the box and it doesn't say.
This site that sells it says 2 years....

Jeffman & Burnt Toast: My bad - the sample is sealed and everything - I did not mean to say I think its bad I just want to make sure the two year shelf life or 18-24 months from the batch code/date is pretty accurate?

so my saga continues...UPS has lost my envelope with my new COC...my new employer now has to overnight another one, and as you would guess this is making me pretty crazy...

i was so concerned about my husbands piss looking "pretty" for my original DT, i should have taken the nicitine laden, fried food bingin, soda drinking piss he creates daily....but nooooooo stupid me, wants "light colored" piss because i thought it would look "healthier"...and now i am still waiting to put this thing to bed...

since the first one was a UA, is it possible for my new employer to flip a switch on me, and do oral swab or blood since we are down to the wire??? i am supposed to start my new job on Monday, and it's in a different state....

what a mess!!!!

so this is ffffin weird...UPS just showed up (8:00pm) with a package that looked like it was rode hard and hung up wet, but inside a new COC...and a UA to boot....

i am scheduling for tomorrow first thing in the a.m....we even had mcdonalds for dinner, and my husband doesn't partake ever, so all should be golden..

cross your fingers and say a little prayer for me....
