i buy 2 120mm computer fan and want to plug them on a ac/dc adaptor..
the ac/dc adaptor i got at home is a 4.5volt and the output is 0.6A and my 2 fans need both 0.31A..
can i plug both fan on the same adaptor ?
seem logic to me that it will work but i just want to be sure i dont want to plug it and it seem to work and come back form work and see the house on fire :D
thx
sorry for my bad english

I would say its marginal. But probaby the worst thing that would happen is to burn the ac adapter up. You might check on getting a power supply out of an old used computer.

If you aren't for sure don't try it .
Im burned like you couldn't even imagine from a poor decision a while back .:(
I have a pair of these fans in a dec. sized cabinet and they're already to plug -n- play w/ normal 115v. house current and they move crazy amounts of air for their size . $19.00 each is well worth piece of mind . :D

Old Panasonic telephone power supplies are often 12volts and thats what you want. Just make sure it supplies at least the amount of amps that your fan draws.

yeah you need a 12volt adapter not a 4.5v. you could pick up an adjustable "wall wart" at radioshack if you need to. in my veg box i have 3 80mm thermaltake PC fans running off 2 separate 12v sources to keep speeds up. gonna rig up my spare PC power supply(300wattmax) to run my fans later.
