New Bowl - Cleaning Question

Just bought a glass bowl today for $28. I read some things on how to go about cleaning it; using rubbing alcohol and hot water with some q-tips and what not. My question is how often should I clean it? After each time I smoke? Also, if you have any good cleaning tips, post 'em.

I clean mine every few times I use it. I don't resin hit it, because that's just gross. Having a clean pipe makes packing easier and your hits taste better. All in all, it takes me putting it in a ziploc bag while im sleeping and I wake up and rinse it out. 5 minutes worth of work. Some poeple like the resin build up...me not so much.

Alcohol and salt..clean it as often as it gets dirty ;) It's pretty simple. Enjoy your new bowl, love!

clean it when it don't hit no more. then scrape it out with a bobby pin. after some practice, you'll be able to clean it pretty efficiently, in a reasonable amount of time, and mop out a big fat resin ball for those rainy days.

I clean my bowl about once a month when im using it alot. In my experience the best way to clean them is with efferdent. its a denture cleaner. I fill a little container with hot water then drop one and a half in and they dissolve into the water turning it blue, then drop in the bowl and shake it every few minutes for about a hour. you should see the resin just fall off. Anything that stays in the bowl can easily be cleaned with a paper towel. That shit melts the resin away.

oh and by the way, you can strain the water through a coffee filter & keep your resin if you want.
