Questions about Hash

My dealer ran out of bud recently, but apparently he has hash, I've never tried it let alone see it, what can I expect out of it and is it possible/reccomended to smoke it? Also, what kind of price increase would this stuff be over normal bud?

Alright, I have smoked hash a bunch. It usually comes in bricks about 60g, probably close to 4 in X 4 in (I'm just estimating). Hash highs are not the same as weed highs. I prefer weed to hash. Also, you usually have to mix has with tobacco.

There are different types of hash, light and dark hash. Both are good. Good quality hash will bend and not break when you flex it.

Hash goes for like 30 a G usually (at least around here) and a gram doesn't look like much. The high is a much more "stoney" high.

Before you can smoke it, you have to toast it. This is done usually by putting it on the tip of a scalpel and lighting it from beneath, just enough to barely singe the outside of it. This is done so you can break it up, and then mix it with tobacco.

In order to cut the hash into smaller pieces, use the lighter to light the scalpel for about 20 to 30 seconds and use the hot knife to cut it. This will make cutting alot easier.

Although, I always prefer weed to hash.

Not really. The content is more THC, but when smoking it you don't use as much.
It ends up being about even. Also, the hash doesn't really "smoke" like weed does; its an entirely different substance.

15%-20% isn't the highest quality hashish. Heck, there is weed that has that much or more THC. Good hash can be at least 40% THC, iirc.

It's alright I'll clarify.

Hash is not 90% THC, although it is very high in THC content. Since it's difficult to smoke just straight hash, most people mix it with tobacco or weed. Also, it doesnt create nearly as much smoke at weed does. Hash is more potent, but as far as the THC goes, both weed and hash will get you high.

Hash doesn't taste as good either. From someone who smoked hash for a straight month, I can tell you that weed is much better. But hey, everyone has different tastes. :thumbsup:

I totally agree (Tpot), hash has a high THC content but the high is much more calm/celebral and uplifting. I would usually mix some green with the hash because hash is kind of harsh on the lungs compared to weed. All in all it's nice to smoke hash but definetly have a little bud around so make it better.
