Hi there!
have a look at those two photos .... I have balloney pre-flowers that are male looking but they seem to develop as female.
I have read that sometimes female flowers are not presenting pistils and also they could get a ball shaped form.
Could it be this case ? I hope!!
Peace!! :hippy:
P.S.

You have just discovered the shitty thing about fem seeds.... they use herms for breeding... you have there a herm.

yup, it's a hermaphrodite, alright ... you can still smoke it, but don't let it pollinate your other plants ...best to destroy it :smokin:

Regarding the second photo: are those female flowers ? they came out from "ballons" as the one in the first shot ...
Peace!!

Yes they are. You will just get alot of seeded bud :). You can try and pick off as many balls as possible but its a lost cause really. Best let nature run its course .

Oh so very sad. I saw the second pic first and had a ray of hope when seeing the pistils, but upon closer exam, stink is right :(. You do have female flowers in there but she is really a dude-ette-man-girl-whatever! Strange thing though, I don't think I would have any problems partaking of the herm herb. It's better than a full out guy!.
Stinky - out of curiosity, did you read the article I wrote / posted about sex determination in C. sativa? If so, what do you think of my theory that hormone augmentation could influence the sexual phenotype of a plant? Specifically I am wondering what could be done with a hermie through hormone therapy. Now that I think about it, it would be really fun to get my hands on a hermie so I can turn it into a lab rat and start f*cking with it's metabolism and growth cycle. Maybe even force flower it female, or supress the male genetic markers. *shrug*
