? about seeds in bud?? need help

ok i just cut a branch today to cure to give to a friend as a test to see what it's doing, and i noticed what looked to be a seed in it. im in the 7th week of flower i'll post sum pics but i know for sure i cut all males way b4 they released there pollen. im pretty sure as i watched them like a hawk, so i started looking on the plants and most of them have seeds in them, not much but 1 or 2 per bud but the thing is they look like the bud with the lil white/amber hairs sticking out the top of them?? is this a real bad thing?? will it take away from the bud being potent? i mean they all look really good but now im worring that the crop is no good?? or well i know it is still ok but say it was ww and then this happens will it not be as good now?? what am i looking at now any diffrent? or is all still ok and i'll just have some seeds in the buds?? and is there a proccess of drying/curing the seeds i want to keep sum as there from good strains ice,ww,crystal

I havent noticed much dif. in potency due to a cpl. beans ,
Were any of them feminised , or a lil stress maybe ? Never know who pol. who , but there should be some neat crosses given the strains ivolved . :D

so nothing to really worry about then?? i'll pick off as many seeds as i can to save.i really don't know how it happened i kept a close eye on things the whole time. 2 times a day even ,i did'nt let the males stack up there lil balls either, right at the first sign the first lil ball i cut. so only other thing i can think of is maybe someone around here has a male somewhere,or a wild one maybe as im kindda out in the boonies and it's real wooded around here well who knows.just as long as there still ok im good with it

Chances are it just hermied a little. Seeds don't take away from potency, just maximum bud yield, but be glad you got some unexpected seeds because that's your next crop right there.

Hey there! I just harvested one of my plants and she had a few seeds in her, maybe about 10 all together. None of the other 5 flowering had any seeds on them though. I had some males early on, as you did, and also removed them quickly. I'm actually quite pleased, as I had wished I had pollinated a branch to avoid buying seeds. I also found 4 seeds in some Golden Goddess bud that I got from my co-op. I think there may be a couple more left in the 2 nugs I have. I will germinate them once I have my 6 vegging girls (white widow, Grandaddy purple, and master/bubba kush) moved into flowering. (I can only have 6 mature and 6 immature plants at a time cause I am a medical marijuana patient.)
I think you are lucky to get seeds out of those plants! I have been told, and I am not sure if this is true or not, but aren't those seeds automatically female? Someone will know the answer to that on here.That would be nice to be sure you only have ladies!

thank you on that, yea i still have 10 each of the ice ,ww,and crystal seeds so im good on the seeds but will be getting a order of 10.each of Blonde Widow(StrawberryBlonde x Aloha WW)

I'd say your lady just went a little hermie on you, and no i'm almost 100% sure that it is not going to automatically be female like weedywildwoman had suggested. Nice lookin fat buds thought man, props. Too many seeds to deal with, i wish that was my problem....feel free to throw some my way:)

thanks yea theres alot of seeds there but im only gonna grow 1 strain at a time and most of them i'll just keep for a rainy day or just in case something goes wrong i'll have back ups if u know what i mean.i really just wanted the Blonde Widow(StrawberryBlonde x Aloha WW but he offered such a good deal i have to get them

Actually pollen from a hermaphrodite female has the chromosomes XX not XY like a male. You have to have XY for a male offspring. Therefore you get no males.

And Sweetie, do you REALLY trust your local cops to know the difference between a "mature" and "immature" plant???? I sure don't! I have 6 plants for me and 6 for the hubby- and that's it! I KNOW the local cops are corrupt and I ain't going to give them any more "help" than I can! If I have JUST 6 plants per person there is no mature vs immature question! - Granny:hippy:

I actually just noticed two of my plants going hermie on me! I think it was because the past two days it got really hot up into 90 and it hasn't been anywhere near that in the past two weeks. The plants would prolly be chopped within the next week but should i chop them early to save from the plant actually developing the seeds. Right now they are just really small and fluorescent green, i just noticed them poking out a little bit so i grabbed a pair of tweezers and pulled one out and it was an immature seed.

Seeds need plenty of time to plump. I didnt have any luck sprouting 4 seeds I got from my 1st grow. Found them while breaking up to roll.

A few seeds in a good grow are always welcome as you said, it will keep you from having to buy more. Any luck on delivery service in the high desert or do you still drive down the hill?
