Lack of computer savy means you just drop a post where ever...
I built this thing. I think it's pretty niffty, and well it's getting to me that I cannot tell anybody really, so I figured I would give this a shot. I really have come to a standstill so to speak... it's like writers block or something. I wanted some feedback, and well... what ya'll think.
cooler and tackle box- free (dumpster diving)
refrigerator- free (found in apartment basement)
lights- $60@homedepot
three computer fans- $40@bestbuy
an' a whole lot of mess, working, and thinking but still...
I used a dremmel to cut the top of the refrigerator off. I removed all it's parts and inserted the fan's so that positive air pressure would occur inside the fridge. I made a box to house the lighting system inside the cooler and provide more hight than actually possible in just the fridge alone. That way I could optimize the plant's use of space in the fridge and control the exhaust more dynamically with a smell filter in the tackle box. It works sorta, but it's a project now that has been born... I guess and will grow. The produce in it now is just scary frankly because it's just a bag seed from a friends special save-awesome-grass-seeds box that was actually female and freakishly prolific. It's not perfect yet by any standards, but I thought the incognito was a cool aspect. My landlord, parents, and friends have no idea. It's on in the picture closed picture, but you can see light through the fans in the back, and that's not finished.
