You attach your PC fan to the inside of a line of ducts. Then it becomes an inline fan. Don't expect a computer fan to move much air through any kind of duct system.

I'll second Opie Yutts' warning on air movemment. Even though some of the larger fans (120mm+) are rated around 100CFM, that is a very liberal rating and is not even close to what you will realize in an inline setup. Even if they did work well, you have to find a DC transformer to wire it up and by the time you pay for all of that, you could have bought a cheap, $30 inline AC fan.

I've bought lots of stuff from these guys, they are very good ...
AC 115V Fans (http://www.coolerguys.com/ac120vfans.html)
... that links you to their 115-volt computer-type fans ... look at each one's details, for CFM ratings, etc. ... I've been running one almost non-stop, for well over a year now, works perfectly ...:smokin:

The efficiency of the fan is going to be reduced greatly if you are going to be blowing the air through any kind of duct work. If you just have that blowing out of your grow room and into open air, then you should be alright, but if you are trying to blow air into a duct system with that fan, its not going to work out so well because it won't be able to generate enough pressure behind it to move as much air as it says. You'd be a lot better off getting a squirrel cage fan.

dejayou30 is correct. Those fans are between 10 and 90 cfm, and if you have ductwork you're going to want something like 250 to 400 cfm.
