How would you be able to make an autoflowering strain, would you
just flower your plant at around 3 weeks then pollinate a female
from the dwarf and then u would have a seed that produces a
dwarf and autoflowers? I sound like a noob here, but im just curious
cause i would love to make my own

I have to ask a question: why would you want your plant to auto-flower ? ... you give up control over the plant, and I see no advantage ... ?? :wtf:

auto-flowering doesn't speed up the flowering period ... in fact, you can easily start the flowering cycle weeks before the plant would by itself ... a lot of growers go to flower when the plant is just inches tall (I personally don't, but some do)

Maybe you would be interested in some of the newer strains that flower in 44ish days. There is one called Top44 I think? They aren't autoflowering, but they give you the chance to veg to complete maturity while keeping a relatively short total growing period.

as you say, 'Top 44' isn't an auto-flower, and finishes in about 44 days (claimed) ... any good Cinderella 99 will finish in 50 days, and will walk all over Top44 ... most indicas also finish fast ... but, still no good reason for wanting 'auto-flowering', that I can see ... :smokin:

besides that if you want a quick start to finish, go get yourself some clones. Just simply root them for 2 weeks, then straight into flower....

The only way to get an auto-flowering strain is to start with C. ruderalis genetics. Any of the Lowryders come from that stock, but have been bred down for generations to incorporate 'drug traits' (resin production). You could just use those. If you wanted to breed autoflower into, say, a Skunk 1 type plant, expect to dedicate much space and many generations to the project.
