good to see i'm not alone up here, just joined the boards. actually went to a show tonight at the magic stick, saw a great band called Black Lips, really good rock n roll. you hang much in RO? i'm usually downtown Detroit for shows and band practice tho i do enjoy hittin up the berkley front and a couple other haunts from time to time

the black lips show at the magicstick was amazing, such a good band. downtown i usually hang at Honest Johns, Old Miami, and the Bronx. actually, if yr interested, my band is playing at Cliff Bells(behind the state theater on Park st.)on sunday night. we are a roots rock/folk band called Puttygutt, if you are free, swing on by. its a good time and good people. you can check out our music on myspace.com/puttygutt , shoot me a PM if yr heading down or feeling like getting a drink closer to home

I looked at your myspace page and went thru band members names -n- most likely dont know any of you guys . You spook me w/ the berkley front though . lol . I got 10 yrs on ya and grew up by Hartfields . You grow up in r/o or berkley ? berkley , kimball , dondero ?

crispi, sorry dude haven't totally setup my account yet. hit me via myspace.com/burnsoh or chalka at hotmail dot com. actually grew up around port huron in a small farm town. moved down here after university about 6yrs ago. thats funny about the berkfront, it is most often infested by tools and poor service but it has a pretty good selection of brews. hell, half the time i end up at the Inn Place on main & catalpa cuz its close and i'm lazy. what kinda music you into by the way?
