Anyone read the book or going to see the movie? Just curious as to what yous all thought. Personally, I'm obsessed with it...if you haven't read the book, I suggest it. Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer.

Into the Wild is the story of Christopher McCandless, who grew up in a wealthy suburb of Washington, D.C., Annandale, VA and died, aged 24, in a wilderness area of the state of Alaska. After graduating during 1990 from Emory University, McCandless changed his name, ceased communicating with his family, gave away his savings of $24,000 to OXFAM and began traveling, later abandoning his car and burning all the money in his wallet.
(This may be in the wrong forum, so if so...mods feel free to move. There's so many freakin' sub-categories I can never figure out which belongs to which.)
