Ok, this might sound like a stupid question but here it goes:
What if you were to make a waterfall bong out of a water bottle or something, then fill it with smoke, cover up the hole, and put a new cap on, so now you have all the smoke trapped in the water bottle, now put the water bottle in the freezer. What would happen? If you could cool the smoke down enough wouldn't it turn to liquid, or solid? Would there be any way to isolate the THC out of it?

Not sure but my guess would be that it would just res up the whole inside and you probably just resmoke it any hows.

I dont know if it would work because water bottles arent air tight so it might just seep out slowly and freeze the water vapor in the bottle.

Not a practical idea.
Smoke is basically tiny particles suspended in the air along with various gases and vapors. Left in a closed container, the particles would stick to a surface. Vaporized THC would condense and mix with the smoke "dust". You would be getting a smoke condensate, not pure THC, from the bottle. It would take quite a while to build up a sufficient amount- think of the volume of actual solid matter in smoke! There just isn't that much there! And how would you remove the condensate? Alcohol? A specially made scraper? And frankly, I think it would taste much like "resin" scraped from a pipe!

OK, I shot down your idea, so I'll give you one of my hare-brained ideas in return. This wouldn't be too sanitary to use in a group, but for a solitary toker...When you toke, a certain percentage of THC is expelled when you exhale. Blow the smoke through a container full of vodka. I see something that looks kind of like a round-belly tea pot with the spout attached near the bottom. You exhale into the spout, the smoke goes into the vodka (THC is quite soluble in alcohol or oil). Sort of a reverse hookah. Eventually, you'd evaporate the vodka.

You aren't the only one who gets oddball ideas! I get my share- what about the rest of you? Vaporizers were a wild idea when I started toking.- Granny
