I just got this in an email from NORML,

"Marijuana Arrests For Year 2006 â?? 829,625 Tops Record High...Nearly 15 Percent Increase Over 2005"

There's a lot of craziness in this world, but this ranks near the top.

just imagine of those resources were spent just about anywhere else: education, control of *real* crime, catching *real* terrorists, putting corrupt politicians in jail, healthcare...
