View Full Version : The 'why we can't find Bin Laden after 10 years' thread

Anyone have some reasons why the most powerful country on this planet can't find one very rich person who keeps making videos and spreads them to the media.....? Do we really want this man dead or what?
Maybe why this took place: "former President George H. W. Bush attended an investment meeting at the Washington, D.C. Ritz-Carlton hotel on September 10, 2001 and in particular a meeting with Shafiq bin Laden, representing joint interests of the Saudi Binladin Group and Carlyle"

an idea that i have heard, is that we know where he is, we know what he's doing, and we know who's working for him. if we killed him someone would take his place and we would have to start all over with the new one. so basically killing him would be counter-productive seeming that we know what hes going to do before he does.
but thats just an idea i've heard.....maybe bush is the devil and the liberals were right all along.

Ever been to Afghanistan? There are tribal regions in which even the Taleban thugs generally can't or won't venture into (due to the extremely hostile climate and locals). If Bin-Laden is among the mountain people (where he spent most of the 80's, when he wasn't being trained by the CIA to fight the Russians) - then finding him simply won't happen until he is turned over. Some of these places are off the radar - literally - and our satellite recon is sketchy.
And one thing can be bet upon: the locals hate Americans far more than they ever will the ruling Muslims. They won't give him up. Likely he floats between there and Pakistan at will. And good luck in a war with Pakistan.
That or he is some actor the CIA sticks on a soundstage and infront of a video camera to further scare Americans into complicity and justify the Bush administration's criminal and amoral actions.
And we're not the most powerful nation on earth. China is. With India close behind. Wake up and smell the good Ganga and Nepal hash. ;)

I think bin laden doesn´t exist, or is already dead, it´s just an excuse for Bush to control oil in the middle east and keep on spending hugh amounts of money in ammno to incentivate the economy.

well there is no way to know... i could make snide (sp) remarks about what other people think, but the fact is, i don't know the whereabouts of bin laden... and we don't KNOW what to believe. because whether or not you ackknowledge this government as a lying institution, everyone knows that no body, knows what to believe... unless you are happy never questioning, and following in line

Bush has a HUGE conflict of interest with Bin Laden. He is personal friends and has business dealings with the so called "nice Bin Ladens" so I'm sure he's in no hurry to piss off his business partners. Just a little of the "Good Ole Boys Club"

I've never met the Bin Laden family so I don't know. But just because there last name is Bin Laden doesn't mean they're terrible people. I make my judgements on the individuals not there family heritage. Except the Bush family of course. Ain't nobody worth a shit from that genetic anamoly.

Killerweed420 is right. Let's remember that Osama's own family has disowned him, not to mention Saudi Arabia revoking his citizenship. Yes, I was in the military and I've been to Saudi, the people there are very nice and hospitible - puts the US to shame in that regard.
Trying to condemn the entire Bin Laden family just because of Osama would be like the US jailing the entire family of a serial killer. Doesn't make a lot of sense, does it?
And Killerweed420 is also right - the Bush family is the only exception. Where the gene pool went wrong, I don't think anyone will know.

I'm not a conspiracy guy AT ALL but when it comes to bin laden I mean come one on mountain people and all the son of a bitch is on dialisys we can find Hussien who's kid took tractor trailers full of gold from his accounts and find him in a hole but not an old man on dialisys I mean i agree with h4h if we really wanted him gone we would but we know his conections his moves and his mentality keep him there and stop all his atacks. If they were such a force something would happen here our big cuties are supplied with water from resivoirs yet they havent been hit and on top os that a uhaul that runs on dissel and then fill it with fertilizer high in amonium nitrate on a bridge isn't even been pulled, we grow cannabis and are left alone, even buying it with credit cards on the internet, I mean my ferts are obviously for cannabis and haven't been bothered. The government is simply protecting us by leaving a discovered and financially limited person in power to protect us by leaving a financially limited and soon to die person in "power", don't get me wrong i do not agree or support our InVASION but it is better for everyone to keep a figure head we can predict in place then to kill him and see and figure out the person whos next. It's a religous war no matter how many times you kill the leader there's a more gun ho person to take there place because there driven to take him over or win his pride so it's safer to leave things predictable and protect the innocent while the president runs a religous and oil war. At worst it allows him tocontinue his alteriere motive war while not getting shit for killing americans on American soil. Just my opinion. To each there own.

Someone posted about China and India being the most powerful nations, and I think they meant to write richest. The U.S. still has the craziest military by far (technology wise, Bush loves spending money on the military.) I mean, you can outnumber someone 1000-1, but the 1000 with sticks still loses to the 1 with a machine gun.
As far as Bin Laden goes.... we can all speculate as to why, but there is obviously a reason that he is still alive. If the government wants someone that bad, they'll just go in and get them. I mean, yesterday on msnbc there was satellite footage of Bin Laden.... drr drrr drrrrrrr.
If they really wanted him, they would send a couple hundred snipers into those mountains and have them sit and wait. We don't want Bin Laden, we wanted a reason to go to Iraq to sit on the worlds largest remaining oil fields... It isn't rocket science....

I have little dought that given his current approval ratings bush would have bin laden killed, whatever their family ties. They were to busy planning a war with iraq to put much time, effort, or troops into afganistan. So he escaped to a country with a couple hundred nucleur weapons and not a drop of oil which has no intention of finding him. Sending snipers into pakistan would get them killed long before they got anywhere near bin laden and possibly start a war even bush isn't stupid enough to believe a good idea. If pakistan had oil that might be a different story, but it doesn't. It doesn't much matter anyway, I'm sure they could find someone else to read their statements easily enough.

That is not 100% true, about the 1000 men with sticks loses to 1 man witha machine gun. Take the battle between the Zulu and the British as an example of this. They used the "horns of the bull" strategy, and defeated the British in a battle. The British had gatling guns and rifles. The Zulu had spears, for the most part. Some of the Zulu did have old muzzle-loading rifles, which were greatly outdated by the British rifles and gatling guns.

there is one oter thing id like to pont out here tht china and india are not using sticks. the chines are armed with ak-47, undoubtibly the best assault rifle ever designed, and soviet made tanks, apc and anti aicraft. not to mention the mig fighters, missles , etc.
im not sure what india is using but im thinking american made arms. so that is a far cry from sticks.
also lets not forget about the war between afganistan and russia. the afganis defeated the largest military force in the world.

Even if Bush wanted to find Bin Laden (which he doesn't), he wouldn't be able to. The Bin Laden Family holds large amounts of respect and power within the middle-eastern/arab world.
