I just started my first hydro grow about a week ago... I am currently using Floracious Grow and Bloom nutrients and my first question is about these....do i strictly use the grow by itself and then when i start to flower my plants use the bloom part??? or do i mix them with eachother?? with what strength??? I have been just using the grow part half strength...and here arrived another problem the second day after my nutrients were in...the solution started to turn real brown and i couldnt even see through it and now there looks like a bunch of dirt settled on everything in the tub and i dont know where all this crap came from?? Someone please HELP!!! i am also considering to switch to general hydroponics nutrients flo series....Help please???!!!

I'm not sure about Floracious Grow and Bloom. However, if it is anything like th GH then you do mix the grow and bloom. The grow should be at a higher strength then the bloom but you use both. For instance, with the GH, for Veg you use 3 parts Grow and 1 part bloom per gallon. But even in the veg stage you need P-K. Difference is for the GH there is a micro formula too that adds a lot of the secondary nutes. Then of course if you are using distilled water you will want to add Cal-Mag.
As for the brown dirt, I started to see something like a brown film on the sides and bottom of my res when I added in Liquid Karma and Hygrozmye. I think it's resdue for the organic - not sure. Sorry, can't be of much help here.

my two cents... i have been growing a couple years and have tried a lot of organic based nutes, and after finding dutch masters product, I could not be happier. It's pretty much clear, alittle go's a long way, and it will pretty much p h balance itself. It should cost less than a $100 to get set up. I use the one flower rather than the 2 part mixes, its just eaiser for me, I am far from a pro. hope this helps.
