Horrible nightmares before cannabis use

I can remember I had some of the most frightening nightmares, things I couldn't even imagine..scared the piss out of me, I had them nearly every night..I smoke marijuana now daily, and of course before bed time, and I never have had any unpleasant dream since..

By any chance have you smoked salvia? Just wondering because I have to had very vivid nightmares. I also have had one about those tall lanky aliens with the big heads and eyes. I used to be interested in aliens, but now for some reason they scare me...

One of my favorite effects of weed is it's ability to block dreams out thanks to short term memory damage. My short term memory is in shreds and I couldn't be happier- my dreams are grotesque.

Okay...I've got to share this...

Last night, I was runnin' low, so instead of smokin' a J or a blunt, I just hit the bong a few times. I had the craziest, most vivid dream ever. I dreamed that I was walking through a field, and there were people around me, including my husband, and all of the sudden everyone started screaming for me to get down on the ground. So I jumped face first, and felt something crawl on my back. My heart was racing, and I was sooo scared. It was sooo real, it freaked me out. Anyway, I came to realize that it was a bear, and it started playing with my hair, and grabbing my fingers, and man it was soooo REAL. I could hear everyone telling me to be very still and quiet, so I did. I was breathing heavy, and it felt like it was really happening. I woke up shortly after. It seriously scared the sh*t it out of me. Has anyone else had a random dream like this? It has me wondering if there is any meaning behind it. Where do we come up with this stuff?? So yeah, I though I would share. Too crazy not too.

Sorry to go off subject, but I just had to let that out. I think I'll be hitting the NyQuil before bed tonight;)

I've smoked regularly for over 10 years and just recently stopped the past month to pass a urine test for a new job. I have always told people I don't dream BUT since I've stopped, I've been having vivid strange dreams every night. I have come to the conclusion avid smoking keeps you from dreaming. I've also had tingling sensations that are irritating in both legs from knee down every night since stopping. I definately feel MJ has medicinal purposes.

Youre just so damn tired after smoking that when you sleep your brain shuts off. I seriously sleep like 11 hours if I toke till I drop.

Thats such a trip i have the same problem. If i don't smoke all day that night i have hella dreams i don't like. When smoking i sleep so much sounder and rarely ever dream.:rasta:
