just wondered if halogens lights might be of any use ...found some real cheap...

Hello,

The only instance that comes to mind, is if your grow area was too cold you could use a halogen for warmth. They put out a ton of heat, but very little usable light. They are like a super-charged incandesent bulb.

dont use halogens for anything!! theyre the worst! they release most of their energy through heat instead of light.
