Why you can't ask "What STRAIN IS THIS DUDE?"

Idnetifying a strain is similar to identifying a person. You can tell by what they look like, where they live, what their accent is, and how they age something about who they are. Just like when you get that stoned, couch-lock feeling, you know you're hittin' a mostly indica plant. But, if someone just walked up to me and had a conversation with me, sure, I could guess where they were from within a general area, say, a continent (only 5 in which people live on), but without knowing who their parents were, how they were raised, etc, you cant really know their ancestry or lineage, or their culture. So just think about that. A plant can grow up to look like pretty much anything, and by the time its dried and cured, who knows what it could be. So the next time you want someone to identify your strain, expect this:


its super funky kush master blueberry widow alaskan thunderfuckin grape grandaddy power plant

or


Hey, you got the green kind too huh?

or


it might be marijuana.not sure though

W/O a tissue sample or a control group to compare it to you'll never know .
Do a search on the web. on Plan B collective or other groups that go way out of their way to preserve / document m/j genetics . Only way to be sure is through a test similar to a human DNA test and compare strains .

You might be able to name off a strain that looks similar to the picture, but theres hundreds of strains that look just like the next depending on how their grown, and some strains dont even look like them selves!

How can u claim to know what it is? Just because u have seen a strain that look SIMILAR too that?

Yes you can NOOB !!!!!!! But you , I , or any other person on this site can not afford to do it . Theres ppl. w/ tissue cultures / samples cyrogenically frozen , and keep up to 150 dif moms of clone only strains just for this purpose = comparrison . You would shit on yourself if you really knew how deep some ppl. are into this . Plants - just like animals can become extinct , loosing some of the old building block strains would be a huge loss to the breeders of today that still work of the orig. hardcore strains . Do some research on the dif. collectives - free your mind and your ass will follow .
