Anyone tried the Chromium Crusher (http://www.vaporizerdealer.com/collections/chromium-crusher/products/2-5-4-piece-chromium-crusher) grinders? They look like they are really good quality, especially for the price.

30 bucks? dude go on ebay and look for a spacecase grinder, its 4 piece as well and is top quality. i found mine for 10 bucks new.

I found it the Chromium on eBay for $19.99 US, shipped. I think I like it better than the spacecase grinders I've seen.

That looks like a good quality one, mines essentially a run-of-the-mill grinder with almost spear-like blades protruding in it, works very well, but lacks the storage compartment (which I was pissed about) and this filter-option.

P.S What purpose does the filter serve?

It is for catching resin crystals (trichomes).

Wow! That is made to look exactly like a space case grinder. Even has the same type of text in the same spot. I paid 70 for my space case, and it will last a lifetime. The trichomes sharpen the grinding blades everytime you use it. If this grinder is anything like that, you will never need another one.

I just got my 3", 4 piece Chromium Crusher. It is an extremely effective grinder. There is a slight machining/milling/forging defect on one of the parts, but it doesn't impair the use, so I'm not too worried about it. I don't think you can beat this grinder for the price. I got mine for $26.xx shipped. I am very happy with it!

e-bay ships anywhere and that is where some people were buying them. i havnt done any other searching to find different places.

I got a 3-piece from vaporizerdealer for $17 after shipping (which was free), and I'd say it's completely awesome at its job. I was even thinking about getting the 2-piece in addition to the one I already have... :)

Dude mine turned out to be shit. It broke first use and it got aluminum flakes in the bowl!

You got the aluminum one (they come free with vaporizers). The Chromium Crusher, 2007 model, is an alloy of zinc and steel.
