I recently got a brazillian bikini wax for the first time. I was wondering how many women actually get this done on a regular basis and how you feel about the whole experience.

It's so weird to have a woman I don't know touching and looking at my vagina!

haha yeah it is wierd having another woman all up in my vajayjay, kidn of like going to the gyno, same feeling lol, but it hurts realll bad! i love the end result though shaving down there is such a pain. well waxing is actually more of a pain, but u kno wut i mean

I love waxing. It's a great feeling, but I've never done my vag, I'm planning on it though.

I have been doing the brazilian wax regularly for the last few years. After a while, it doesn't hurt nearly as much as it did those first few times or maybe my tolerance to the pain has increased... Either way, I prefer it to shaving by a long shot. As far as someone looking at your vagina, yeah, it's kind of awkward, but I figure the woman I go to has seen mine and other vaginas before, and mine isn't particularly memorable so oh well, spread it! :hippy:

I did it once when I was 17...haven't done it since...it brought me to tears....but now that I'm older (and sick of shaving) I'm willing to reconsider...only thing is, I've gained a considerable amount of weight since then...do they charge extra if you're a bigger girl?

I've been to Brazil a lot. It's easier than shaving, but it does hurt like hell. I'm considering doing laser to have it permanently taken off, but I dread the time I'll have to invest in that, and laser hair removal, at least to me, doesn't feel good, either. I've done my underarms and legs already. I figure it'd be especially sensitive on my "delicates." And I wonder if, sometime when I'm old, old, there'd ever be a reason I'd want or need my pubes back. As far as the embarrassment goes, I always keep in mind that the women who do waxing do that to a lot of women. They're used to looking at vaginas, at least the external parts. I figure we're the ones who feel funnier about it than than they do. In the clinic where I've had my lasering done, they have a guy technician much of the time. I hope they'd assign a lady tech to pube-lasering!

I've never tried waxing...not sure if I'm brave enough. I just use an electric razor. Quick and easy. My hubby has been begging me to let him shave a heart or something down there, but I like it bare;)
