I have a plant that has a few seeds along with it, bagseed, first grow, no worries.

My question is:

I took a sample today and noticed that the seed was black, and hard and looking like most other seeds. Is this one done in fact? and does this mean the plant is as well? The trics are getting to mostly all cloudy,

what do you folks think?

I've never heard of determining harvest time by checking seed color. As far as I know, the only real way to tell is by checking trichomes.

The development of seeds is not an indicator of harvest time. Seeds may be ready much sooner than trichomes, or they may not finish before the harvest.
Seed development depends on when the plant was...
A. pollinated by a male plant, or
B. self pollinated.
