is hookah tobacco the same exact tobacco as cigarettes( with all the nasty chemicals in it that cigs have) besides the molasses or sugar in the hookah tobacco?

some studies show that one session of smoking hookah (about an hour) is about as harmful as smoking a pack of cigarettes. this hookah talk is making me want to go down the street to the bar now. would be my third time at the hookah bar this week. sheesh.

Hookah tobacco is usually only 10% tobacco- the rest is fruit pulp or extract mixed with molasses. The minute amounts of nicotine and most of the tar is filtered out in the water.

The studies that claim it's as bas as smoking 35 cigarettes have the hookah shishka burning at MUCH higer temps- 800C versus the normal 100C temp shishka burns at- creating MUCH more tar than what is actually absorbed by the human lungs.

I really enjoy hookah lounges, they're relaxing, good culture, good food, and great places to socialize with friends (and make new ones). People both working at or visiting hookah bars are much more likely to socialize with you, since you practically are less that 2 feet away from each other.

When using a Hookah - you are not really smoking - you are actually vaporizing - using indirect heat - but some of the co2 from the charcoal does come through. Shisha tobacco comes in a variety of quality - like tobacco - you can have top cut stemless shisha (i.e. Romman or Starbuzz) or lesser quality tobacco. In general - this tobacco is all natural vs typical cig tobacco.

yeah hookahs are luverly i got one certousy of one of ma best buds got me a 90cm hookah with a box with about 15 diffrent flavoured tobacco's ..all fruit, expet the liqurice lol also got a coca cola batch

Just happen to have a box of "Nakhla Tobacco" right here....my son brought it back from Germany with a hooka. Big thing to do in the service or some shit like that.

Shisha bars are the best, i used to go to one in minneapolis a lot, lots of old midle eastern dudes... they eventually taught me some card games and would sit and play cards with me for hours, most have great midle eastern food or delis in them as well. A while back my fiance and i invested in a super nice egyptian style hookah. Most shisha is very pure tabaco as in next to no tar and low nicotine, its waaaaaay smoother than cigs... i would say maybe even smoother than weed. Over the last few months our favorite way to smoke is mix a fruity tasting shisha in our hookah bowl and then sprinkle weed on top, gets us stoned as fuck and is hella relaxing and soothing. No passing pieces back and forth or anything we just both chill on the couch with our hoses

Yeah man, putting bud in shisha is fuckin crazy!, i got 3 hoses coming out of mine, me and 3 friends just chill out and smoke out of each hose!

I have the same stuff, but mine says 0.5% nicotine. So idk, I'm not a scientist but it doesn't seem like it would be that bad for you.

ya i think he meant .5% cause thats wat they usually r......but does anyone know how much nicotene is in cigarette tobacco?
