I'm going to be a first time grower in the near future and I'm looking for advice from veteran growers.
Which strain is the easiest and fastest to grow with a good yield and not so much of the MJ smell?
I've heard that the two best strains to start with are Northern Lights and Cinderella 99.
What say you?
*hope I posted this in the right forum*

congratulations, you hit the nail on the head ... I always recommend Northern Lights to beginners (and pros, too) ... it is a great plant, forgiving, manageable height, high potency, very good yields ... if you prefer a spacier high, the Cinderella99 is outstanding ... also an easy growing variety, and very low odor ... I grew out Joey Weeds 'NL99', a hybrid of the two ... EXCELLENT !!, I loved it ... the photo in the description is one of my clones, grown out by a friend (his FIRST-ever grow attempt) ... impressed ?? :D

I'm currently growing the Joey Weed NL99 also. Pre-flowers are just started to come in last week. The plants seem nearly indestructible :)
I've got a couple other things growing too, and the NL99 is much less picky about everything.
Although I haven't completed a full grow with this strain yet, based on what I've seen so far (and things others have said about it, including reaper), I would highly recommend it.
EDIT: As far as odor goes, it is indeed very low. When rubbing a leaf to see how much it smells, one of my NL99's has almost no odor, and the other plant smells citricy/grapefruit like. But the room the plants are in doesn't smell much at all.

you might want to take clones from your 'grapefruit' plant, as that's the pheno most desired ... that stuff gets even better after a good slow curing ... congrats ...

reaper: I will definitely be taking clones if it's female. Looks like it is, but the pre-flowers are still pretty small. What other phenos can I expect? Is there a pineapple one, too?
And thanks! :D

all of mine seemed to be a lemon/grapefruit sort of mild aroma, but I had read in many places, that the Cinderella99 'grapefruit or pineapple' phenos are the real jewels ... I was damned happy with my lemony grapefruit girls ... all of mine grew out, and looked identical, very stable ... :smokin:
