I had my bong under my couch (I had just made it and was proud of it).

I had just gotten out of school when my mom called me on my cell phone. "Come home right now." "Why?" "You'll find out when you get here."

Shit.

So I come home, and I pretty much knew what had happened. So I saw it sitting there, and her and my dad were all like, "We know what this is. I can't believe that you would go against our trust like this, etc. etc." I got yelled at for 4 hours because I smoke. I don't really think that they liked it when I called them "ignorant fucking conservatives." So they were like, "Go and get EVERYTHING that you have that pertains to pot. If you try to keep something, your punishment time will be doubled." So they watched me go out to my car and get my cigs, lighter, the jar I keep my green in, and my pipe, and another bong that I had. "Is that everything?" "Yes." "Go up to your room and take out your stereo, TV, Xbox, and Computer."

Then they gave me 2 choices.

A) Lose my car until summer.

B) Sell my car and go into the military.

Naturally, I chose the 1st choice. Then they called me in today and said, "We changed our minds about you." Naturally, I was like, "Good, maybe I won't get fucked in the ass by them." So they were like, "You are going to lose your car for 30 days starting today, and then you get it back. Then we will start doing hair and urine drug tests every 2 weeks or so until you go to college. Then whenever you come back from college for Thanksgiving, Spring Break, Christmas, whatever, we're going to drug test you. If you fail, we are going to pull you out of college and make you sell your car."

Shit.

So now pretty much the only thing I can do is smoke Salvia (I'm going to get a tincture of Salvia from sagewisdom.org, it looks pretty cool) and smoke cigs.

So my advice to you, smokers, if you still live with the 'rents, hide your shit really, really well.


The only upside to this is when I go to college and start smoking weed again after 7 1/2 months, I'm going to get BLAZED because my tolerance is going to be down again. At least I have that to look forward to.

I feel for ya man, i've been caught twice ,but never tested. that sucks. jst make sure you talk to them about it once in a while. the more i talk to my parents the more they understand stuff, even if it ends in arguements. they still dont want me smoking whatsoever.and i dnt care. i dnt let them kno i smoke, but i dnt ack like a hypocrit and not speak my mind about HERB and why it would be benificial to so many ppl. including the "ignorant capitalist" retards that make the desisions for the poeple of this country. they,ve also opened up to me bout some stuff, like i found out that both my mom and dad smoked grass at least once but a long time ago.

Man, thats a sad story. However, you should really learn your rights dude. You said you're graduating in 7 1/2 months, then you are probably 18 or if not very close to it. That means you are legally an ADULT, meaning you don't have to let your parents boss you around. If you don't already, get a job, and keep doing well in school, and smoke freely, and if they catch you, calmly explain to them that they may disagree with your choices but that they cannot do anything about it. If they call the cops, move out.

She went as far as saying she would just quit her new job (highest paying job she'd ever had. period.) and work at McDonald's so she could moniter me. Then she threatened to move us away and take me away from all of it. Then she said I was betraying her trust or whatever. Then she started to cry and told me to leave her the fuck alone. (exact words).

I told her I would quit, but I, obviously, didn't. She thought all way OKAY until one night I got caught by leaving seeds on the table. (Wasn't actually MY fault, but I take blame for it because I didn't clean up the house well enough that night) So, when that happened she threatened to send me to my father's family (they hate me more than Bush hates "Terrorism" simply because I'm a half-breed, and not of true blood) and force me to leave there. Then she threatened with the police, later on.

I told her right there and then that I didn't care anymore. I told her I didn't do pot to fit in or to feel welcome, I did it because it was a really good way to relax, and I enjoyed it. I told her it hasn't affected my grades or made a worse person. (My GPA actually went UP the first six weeks I started to smoke regularly) In fact, even if it is sorth of pathetic, pot made me realize you can't be bitter and lock yourself in your room, that's black with bedsheets over the window to keep the lock out and leave a life on the computer. It made me realize that I can't stay sad and depressed and think that the world hates me my entire life. To grow up being like that, being that unhappy, is even more frickin' pathetic than smoking pot.

I told her all of that. I also told her I wasn't going to stop smoking. We made an agreement:
- I'm out of her house by 18, college or not, "I'm done with it."
- When I'm busted, don't think of calling her. I can rot in that jail cell (her words).
- I would no longer allow people (MINORS) to smoke in my house, because of the fact that she could get arrested and our house taken away, etc.

So, she still doesn't want me doing it, but I told her that it's my decision, and I will make MY decisions by myself. It's my life, I said. She said, "It's my home." (thus the 3rd term to the agreement)
So, I do it. Now, I do it because it's really, really relaxing. I'm as responsible as I ever was. If there is homework, I'll do it before I smoke. Get the choors done, laundry, dishes, trash, etc etc. Then, I sit down, light up, and just listen to some music or watch TV.

I don't really understand what's wrong with that.

Anyway, some days are exceptions where I'll let up before I get home, then do all the choors and homework later that night. So, like a switch up of the regular day.

Dude, don't give up hope. Piss tests can be easily circumvented (by using someone else's piss, or using one of many piss-cleaning techniques) and better yet once you're 18 nobody can force you into taking a drug test of any kind unless you are convicted of a drug crime, not even your parents. The key is to cut your financial ties to them (the car, etc) so they can't use them as tools to make your behavior conform to their beliefs. Once you are independent you will not be obligated to cooperate with them and you can say "You know what, I'm going to smoke pot whether you like it or not. I can manage my own life now, and if you sic the cops on me I hope you're real proud of yourself for making your own son suffer in a jail cell for doing something he enjoys that doesn't hurt anybody except potentially in the long run himself."

lol, that didn't help. The best thing to do is just remain calm and explain yourself clearly and calmly, and explain how weed is not Satan in plant form.
