DXM, How long does it take to get an effect?

I drank a little less than half an 8 oz. bottle of CVS Max Strength Tussin and I am wondering how long it takes to feel it. Should I take more or should that be enough?

a little less than half, dont expect much of anything, just drink the whole thing you wont die, it takes like an hour to take effect.

Never mind. I drank like 3/4 then smoked some KB. I am listening to Pink Floyd and it is amazing. I weigh about 160ish.
