brown hairs

About 60% of the hairs on my girls are brown. They've been in the ground since March. I dont have a magnifier, so does any old shool growers that dont use magnifiers think they are ready? Or is it impossible to tell without a magnifying glass? Still dont have pics

Don't judge it by the hairs. Hairs can die for whatever reason and aren't a reliable source. You really need to check the color of the trichomes (resin glands, crystal thingies). You can goto radioshack and buy a little pocket sized microscope for like 15 bucks.
