Look down just a little ways on the index and there's a thread about this with some good info in it.

Instead of using a humidity dome, how about foliar spraying them about twice a day. This way its wet but can dry and gets wet again. The moisture will be there but not long enough to let mold grow. Mind you I too had a mold prob with these clones root area but that was due to high water temp. Needless to say I got rid of the ones affected and kept the ones that weren't.

To cause rot, you need not only humidity, but also dirty conditions.
The cleaner you get your propagation equipment, the less likely it will be that your plants get mold.
I find it helpful to spray the inside of the dome rather than the plants themselves, so there is never water sitting on the leaves, but the air is humid.
Also, keep your temps steady so there is no condensation (dewfall) on the leaves. This is why I recommend 24 hour lighting for clones.

Spray your prop dome, tray, and pots with a bleach solution or foaming bathroom cleaner/sanitizer before use, allow to sit 10 minutes, then rinse off. Only cut on a clean surface with a fresh razor. Use hormone that is not expired, and never dip directly into the original jar- pour out what you need. I like dip-n-gro because it has a fungicide in it.

Just some hints! :D

Why were they still in the humidity dome after a few weeks? They should be rooted and out of the dome in a week to ten days.
