With all the technology, such as checking the actual pitch location and different camera angles, slow mo, and all that, how come baseball doesn't have challenges like in football? Anyone else think that would be a great idea? And they could have 2 challenges per team just like football. Or maybe 3 because they don't take breaks in football.

just cause it's the way it's always been played, otherwise too many things would be challenged... pitches would be challenged all the time, as well as outs. It's kinda like, the umps have gone through training and schol to learn how to call correctly, and you just kinda have to trust them to do so... Yes, occasionally they do fuck up. Also, on very rare occasions, challenges and reviews do get used.

EXACTLY! more like an opinon from commentators, but if you are only issued 3 per game, then it wouldn't get abused.

well uh u might not know this but, he meant that in baseball, as it is in football too, the team would only be aloud to challenge twice a game

The umpires are right on top of the action. They don't get their view blocked, like they do in football.

REPLAY IS NEEDED FOR HOME RUNS/ FOUL BALLS THAT COME VERY CLOSE TO THE FOUL POLE ONLY. the game is too long for anything else. this was brought up on espn some time ago maybe a couple years ago i dunno i smoke alot f pot lol
Because then the action would be even slower than it already is.
Im not a baseball hater I like it, I just think it moves at a slow pace.

hell yeah, it drags on and on, I won't lie to you lol, it sucks. they said that an average game is 2:43 min or something like that and a redsox and yankees game is like 3:30 min
