Oh Hell no! not many, maybe 15% of the population, considering 60% or more of the population drink i believe we have 15 or more successful bars in town. Its a predominantly catholic community. Very conservative country town.

everybody i know smokes herb, even peeps i don't know--they smoke herb too! bus drivers, gas-station managers, waiters and waitresses, delivery boys, homeless, firefighters, police officers...um, mamas & papas, busboys, cooks...all smoke weed.

i just moved to chico from redding. HELL YES, alot of people blaze in redding too. this is a big college town, so theres always alot of partys and places to go out but alot of people that blaze 2.

ALOT of people smoke around me. You see everyone openly walking about inspecting their lastest pick-up, and smoking joints around town. The cops dont normally enforce it either. At night you can drive around london and get the sweet smell of ganj and hash - and that's not bullshit. I could go out tonight and smell it. It's a shame during the day all you can smell is petrol and diesel fumes.

An educated guess would be about 70% of people smoke, including alot of older people. My friend bazza and me was walking in town and he spotted someone he knew. He introduced me to a little old lady on a mobility scooter, i thought it was his nan at first - and then she pulls out about an oz and sells him a 1/4. I couldnt belive it! Seriously. She was probably about 75, and she was selling weed. Although that's becomming more common these days, it was atually on TV the other day on BBC1 about old people growing and selling weed. She wasnt all there though, not quite got all her marbles. She seemed nice enough though. This was back in like may i think, i cant remember. It was when i was laying new turf for someone.
