suggestion and feedback OK,

I got messages telling me about irrelevance so lets talk relevance

Clearly when I registered to this cannabis.com website I checked no not a medicinal user so why continually after I left click on message board I get rediected to Medicinal message board I shouldn't even have to do any search for personal use it should just be an option to click on ! I get told that my thought are irrelevent and silly

sincerely

It may not be your thoughts that are irrelevent and silly, just the way you post them. This is the first post from me to you that I will take seriously. You need to understand, there are alot of people confused with your intentions, as your only posted reference to any cannabis knowledge, is 'a friend who had the oppurtunity to smoke some pot'. I smoke about an ounce a week, (and have for a long time) and consider myself a 'newbie' (at BEST) in the cultivation world. I'm a very understanding person, and would be glad to help you straighten out these miscommunications, if thats in fact what they are. Good luck to you and before you post anymore, PLEASE learn enough about a subject to post informatively! (otherwise friends may end up hard to come by!)
Peace 'n Love:D

Ps: IMO=in my opinion (if your response is NOT factual)

example; "IMO, ferts cause paranoia"

I think what they're trying to say is, he doesn't understand why he keeps getting redirected to the medicinal cannabis forum when he clicks on the message board forum link. Is that right?

Chronisseur took the words out of my mouth. Only he said them a lot better than I ever could have. You've had your hard knocks here, FridayNight, because of the credibility of your information.

I'm not sure what it is you're trying to articulate in this thread. I rather get the feeling you may just be clicking on a link accidentally that takes you to medical. I've never yet seen an instance where anyone's stuck in a cycle in which they're constantly redirected to the Medical forum.

If you would be so kind, I'd be interested to hear the answer to Chronisseur's other question, too. Do you have trouble with English? Or are you, perhaps, a native speaker of another language? What we have here is a failure to communicate. (A big high-five to anyone who can tell me the movie that line comes from!)

I'll be moving this thread to Feedback and Suggestions.

Cool Hand Luke - Steve McQueen's personal keeper said it, I think - the FUZZ, that is, in 60's language... :)

Cool Hand Luke, yes. But Luke was played by Paul Newman and the line was from the Warden.

Yey!! Good for y'all. Yeah, it was the warden, only he was called "captain" in the movie, and he was played by Strother Martin, who made a marvelous villain.

My husband knows I love "Cool Hand Luke." He often says things like, "Stretchin it out here, boss," when he's about to take a nap, or "Eatin it up here, boss," when he's about to chow down.

^ How funny. My husband and I are the same: we love that movie.
If he's behind a bush, he'll shake a tree branch.
"Shakin it, boss. Shakin' it.;)

I've never looked at a parking meter or a hard boiled egg the same way since.
I hate parking meters.

Are you from the South, Happiest? I think we like it because of the Southern connection, which is our part of the world. It's a classic. I also like it just because Newman was Greek-god handsome. It has great lines in it.

Woops! I just read the IMDB link about the movie. That line was actually "What we've got here is a failure to communicate," not "What we have. . . ." That'll mean a night in box for me.

Gosh, I have totally hijacked this thread into a different direction. My apologies!

Does anyone else remember how the music from the "Cool Hand Luke" road-tarring scene used to be used a lot for news stations? Our local ABC affiliate in Dallas had that music for its intro for several years in the late 60s or early 70s.

No, not from the south. We are from California. Although we do have relatives in Arkansas and Oklahoma. My husband is a movie freak, and Paul Newman is just damn sexy in that movie, Boss. Just damn sexy!:4:

You're a mod. I think you can do that! ;)

LOL, a power-entitled hijack. That's just corruption, pure and simple!

You're so right about Newman! He was a doll. I saw him in an interview or as a guest on some talk show not too long ago. He said he didn't think he'd ever act again. Said he felt he was at an age now, 82, where he no longer could do justice to a screenplay or a role because he has trouble remembering lines. He himself didn't seem depressed about it, just matter of fact. Somehow it made me sad, though. He's always been one of my favorites, both artistically and politically. The guy has a social conscience. Gotta love that, too.

I've never looked at a hard boiled egg the same way since.

LOL!!
"Why you got to go and say fifty eggs for? Why not thirty-five or thirty-nine?"

"I thought it was a nice round number."

"Nobody can eat 50 eggs."

Thanks Birdgirl! I'm glad YOU understood me, but getting answers outta Mr. Fridaynight seems to be tougher than pullin' teeth! I just figured that maybe our friend doesnt speak fluent english, and wanted to give the poor guy a chance at explaining himself, before earning any more red blocks!

Dear Mr. Fridaynight:
I can see your little light on, so I know you're here...lol...?
WTF dude? If no attempt is made to be understood, I cannot help you............

(here's a thought: maybe he's reading ALOT and trying to catch up on some knowledge before he responds???...wishful thinking:D)
