Man accused of bringing pot muffins to teacher's lounge pleads guilty (http://www.azcentral.com/offbeat/articles/0914tainted-muffins0914-ON.html)
This kid's my hero. Bitchin' senior prank, if you ask me... Minus the legal charges. It's ridiculous that the teachers had to be hospitalized for a little mary =/
And I just have to post one of the comments that someone posted there...Made me L-M-A-O.
Well in the teachers defense, it must have been pretty scary to be all buzzed and goofy and paranoid all at the same time, in the teachers lounge.
Too bad the art teacher couldnt have happened by and clued them in

Not cool. Drugging someone without their knowledge and consent is fucked up.
The kid should go to jail.

Yeah, funny in theory, but I would never do that. I base my beliefs about being honest about pot, and never forcing anyone to partake if they're not willing.
I bet the teachers will never forget it, though...

I'm afraid I'm going to have to take you to task on this one! No one should be gotten stoned without their consent! I know how stoned I get on brownies- an unsuspecting, inexperienced person could easily go into a panic attack or mistake the high for some serious condition.
Also, what will those teachers think and teach about cannabis? Their own experience was not a positive one! We now have a whole staff united against cannabis! That's not going to help! They will spew the DARE line with renewed vigor- all because of that stupid, counter-productive "prank".
I work at a school. Among our volunteer aides, there is a sweet lady in her 80s (she loves her 2nd graders- "They keep me young!" :) ). How do you think this elderly lady would react to the disorientation and loss of ability to think straight? Would she think she was having a stroke? Possibly, dying? Did any of that staff have a heart condition, or other medical condition that can worsen with panic? You don't know, and neither did those young men. What they did was, at best, a thoughtless deed that could have gone wrong so easily! - Granny

Yes it does kind of suck. I would think you would have been able to taste the muffins and figure out theres something wrong with it. I would have loved to be a teacher that day ;) but like you said, it could have been given to the wrong person and something terrible could have happened. I guess thats why he got the punishment he got.

um guys, what makes you think that TEACHERS are inexperienced drug users ... you know they all have gone to college you know and are still normal people ;) I am sure many of you know lawyers, doctors, nurses, who smoke.
But getting stoned without knowing would scare the living crap out of anyone ... you never know why you are feeling funny ... it could be something more. Think about it, you are at work with many others ... you have workers that are under you and you know they generally don't like you .... you think they would give you pot or try to kill you?

Yeah, this would be a funny made up story or prank, but actually doing it is going a little too far. I agree that this kid should go to jail. I know a few guys that are actually allergic to cannabis; if he were one of the teachers and the kid pulled that prank on him, I would have his ass in court... Or I'd find him and kill him. LOL

I mean, just think- some of the teachers might never have smoked pot... The first time I made brownies, it was a very intense high, and even then my tolerance was a bit high. This might have been their first time, combined with the strength, and combined with the notion that something medically is seriously wrong. It's just not a nice thing to do.
Way to screw over the stoner community, kid...
