Quick lighting question:

I'm just about to go from veg to flower.

I have a business trip 2 days prior and I am always paranoid about leaving the garden blazing away (equip malfunction / fire etc.)

I am planning to go to 12/12 immediately upon my return.

WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF: when I left I shut the lights down for 2 days of darkness then started 12/12 immediately upon my return.
?????????????????

Thoughts?

I don't think you would have a problem.

I've read a lot of posts about people screwing up the light schedule..leaving lights on, leaving them off longer etc and all of the responses were similar.

I,ve heard it is good to let them sleep for a long time before going into flowering . This will encourage the plants to go into budding.

Just a couple of days only though.

It'll cost you 3-5% weight and finish things about a week earlier.

Watch humidity build-up.

Try to avoid lights out for more than 48 hours.
