I know we're the self esteem generation. We were all taught that we are special and different. However sometimes I debate how truely unique I am. In a world of 6 billion people theres probably nearly a hundred people who are almost exactly like myself.
Im going to take my plain old self off to smoke a bowl (sigh):(

No, they have a whole line of me over at K-Mart.
I really dont know. My fingerprints are unique, and so is my DNA - that's probably it. It'd be strange to meet someone JUST like me though. I'd probably think i was tripping
"hang on, i havnt eaten any mushrooms today" haha.

I'd love to meet someone who is quite similar to me. Not to the extent they are exactly the same though.

Would you say all living (in the whole 'life that can have "thought process"') things are animals?
at the end of the day all animals are equal.
Living/dying
Every single animal is differen from the next.....but we are all still animals at the end of the day.
ha ha talking shit :hippy:

Regardless of what you all might THINK, we're all completely different and that's exactly why, OUR THOUGHTS! I mean, people can be a lot alike but in psychology we were taught not but a week or two ago that the chance of someone having the same thought processes as you is approximately 1 and 10,000,000,000 (thats BILLION).
Not infinite, but still a big number.

I think I am.
I got cancer at 13, Hodgekins Lymphoma. Which only has about 700 people each year and almost all are boys. So that makes me sort of unique. It definately made me into someone who doesnt take anything for granted really.
Ive never really met anyone like myself but damn am I looking.

I am very special.
Wanna ride my short bus?
(actually, I don't own the bus anymore. Too much gas.)
But seriously, I've lived a pretty unique life.

Who else here has been hit by a train?
Were you that drunk guy I saw on "Cops" the other day?
They ended the segment by saying, "It's not everyday you get hit by a train and live to tell about it. Especially, the condition he was in."

nation...no it didnt really hurt a whole lot when i did it, i went through a fence on a snowmobile. not really that painful as a whole, but when they put a halo on me, the day after they put it on, they had to tighten the pins that were drilled into my skull......that hurt, a lot.

Pins, drilled, skull, that doesn't sound too fun I have to say. Although I'm sure necessary. I'm intrigued in the snowmobile story now, don't mind if I ask what was going on do you?

I wouldn't say I'm unique so much as I'd say I'm an enigma. I'm generally considered to be a "wierd guy" or "oddball" by anyone who is not my mother. You get used to it after a while.

nation...not much of a story really...i was up at my buddys house riding his sled around and all the sudden bam im laying on my back after having just gone through a barbed wire fence. i got a little cut up from it, but it really wasnt too bad. i get up, take off my helmet, walk back to my buddys house go inside sit down, and think to myself, something just aint right. it felt like i had a dull headache in my neck, so after some debating we all decided that i probably should go to the hospital, thank goodness. i went to the local hospital here, and after about eight painful hours of mris and cat cans they sent me to allegany general in pittsburgh, by ambulance. that shit sucked the big one, they put me on a back board as soon as i got there, and i was on that stupid thing for about 18 or so hours. if you ever been on one of those you know what its like, if it not, well its like laying on your coffee table, the back of my head was hurting something fierce. i was in pittsburgh for about three days, they put a halo on me and i had that stupid thing on for about two and a half months.
i broke the second disc in my neck, well i cracked it in about seven different places. to say i was lucky is an understatement.
even if the only thing that separates me from the rest of you is my appearance, then i am still unique. that'd be cool actually if we all just seemed different but were really virtually the same people.

Fundamentally we are I guess, to survive and procreate. But when you delve deeper then no, we vary so much.

Sounds like one painful event. I can't believe you broke your neck and didn't realise sooner, the thought of it made me laugh. I could not imagine breaking my neck and not noticing lol.

I believe we are all unique in our own special ways. I think my uniqueness would be related to my need to be different - to not follow everyone else. March to my own drumbeat.
Just look at the color of my daily driver car on my profile page. Brazen Orange Metallic. My Corvette is Bright Aqua Metallic (would fit right in in the parking lot of a Miami Dolphins game), my '69 GTO is Carousel Red (1969 speak for ORANGE, LOL), my dog is a Rhoedesian Ridgeback (rare here is the USA), and I'll probably vote Libertarian in the next election, LOL.
Unique, or weird, I dunno.... He, he, he....
Peace,
Old Stoner
