Will graphics ever be this good?

nah doubt they'll ever be that good.... but close.... even with newer technology, it's extremely hard to mimic life... both in movement and graphically.

I know I wouldn't sit through a movie in video game form. I'd feel like it's stupid, I should be at home playing it.

As for graphics, I don't think it'll ever be as good as what you see in real life, if becomes so, great, but I'm not sure it can become so. And if it does, I fully expect the ratings police to become worse, each time graphics increase, the ratings people get harsher and harsher.

Yeah thats true but people end up adapting to them plus IF that did ever happen, well whatever you see in 18+ games you see worse in 18+ movies anyway.

Take physics for instance. They were only implemented into games recently. Before that, enemies would simply fall where you killed them. You shoot them with a shotgun, they just fall down.

they're was some talk about em making a vice city movie - with ray liotta [vercetti] and danny dyer [kent paul] but i dunno if that'll ever go ahead.

i think it'd be good though, vice cities plot was one of the best, and imho vc changed the world of gaming and the GTA series. vc will never be forgotten.

yeah mate vice city was a classic and even though ray did the voice and danny dyer did the voice for kent paul their parts would be perfect for them obviously ray suits the typical gangster but danny dyer should have a big part in it aswell, should obvioulsy get the whole london crew in lol jason statham, vinnie jones

Umm... Vice City wasn't that great in my opinion. I enjoyed San Andreas much more. I think we can all agree though, that GTA4 will be the best. ^^

It'd be good. I really liked VC, but i cant play it anymore [1 i've completed it, and 2 everytime i put the disc in it says i need a Ps2 format disc]

I think vercetti was actually based on liotta - they really do look similar, from what i can remember.

I've never been a fan of getting on the game remakes for better graphics thing, but if they wanted to make another Vice City, I'd be all for it. I preferred it to III & San Andreas, and those two PSP games didn't cut it. Of course with them revisiting Liberty City in IV, I could see them doing Vice City again in V or whatever they call the one after IV.

But really, I meant a movie like the first posts look, make it look like an actual game, that wouldn't be so good. And sadly, even movies made off of games usually turn out bad. I think it'd be hard to capture the open ended worlds of GTA in a movie.

I never bothered getting the second one. The first was great. Took em something like 6 years to make, mapping out London shop by shop. It's down to a T. They got sued by BT too for using a BT van in one of the missions, but they took it out and made it a plain white one.

It's like the older vice city games have the cuban and hiatian gangs, but they had to change em coz the game caused real life hatred or something to that effect. The original copies [the one i have] might, hopefully, be worth some money one day.
