Favorite, more recent band i love!Modest mouse!I love oldies too like the beatles, frijid pink, rolling stones, jimi hendrix, ETC.But i've been on a kick about this band for the last couple of years. There more recent album isn't really like their old suff. What im referring to on this post is not their new album.Just their old stuff and the band in general. Who's with me about loving this band! I'll take the negitive comments too. Anyones opinion counts positive or negitive. So lets here it! :jumphappy:

they've been my favorite band since i was in middle school (i'm 18 now). i think the first song i ever heard by them was paper thin walls and i was hooked ever since.
while their newest material is a lot different than the older stuff i still dig the new record (we were dead...) a whole lot.
i saw them twice this summer in philly, both were awesome shows...isaac is crazy, but hes also written some of the best lyrics i've ever read.

Yeah Modest Mouse is a pretty fuckin solid band, I own The Moon and Antarctica, Good News For People... and the new one... The new one isnt quite up to par with the older ones but it's still not bad. The opener for the album "March Into The Sea" however is a great song. I also love "Convenient Parking" off of The Lonesome Crowded West... such a simple song but so powerful, and the catchy delivery really drives it home. I gotta pick that album up.

Pretty much all their songs and lyrics are deep! Man you really have to read their lyric sheets! Crazy lyrics, yet they make perfect sense! So simple yet complex in a way those damn lyrics really make you think!I love 'em Oh yea, listening to 'one chance' right now that song really makes you think about your priorities. And what you put first and for most in life! Greatest underground band of all time!-Ashley B.:D

You haven't heard the Mouse until you have This Is A Long Drive... , Lonesome Crowded West, and their Live at Stubbs show.

I just got into Modest Mouse this summer. I own Good News For People Who Love Bad News and I've downloaded some of their other songs. I'll probably eventually buy their other CDs too.

I fucking love modest mouse. The new album is kick ass, at least the second half of it is. My favorite of their albums is probably The Lonesome Crowded West though. Bankrupt on Selling is amazing.

there a pretty decent band, i could give 2 shits about the 2 latest albums but The Moon & Antartica, Long Drive..., and Lonesome Crowded West are pretty good albums for what they are.
