We got a ton of rain in the ATL today. And it is supposed to rain all night and all day tomorrow. Will my buds be o.k. I've read where mold can become an issue when it rains alot. I was praying for rain when they were vegetating, now I'm afraid of too much rain. Should I be?

(sigh)...outdoor growing.
Yes, they can grow mold if it rains for too long of a period, but a few days should be ok. Unfortiunatly, there is little you or I can do about mother nature; sometimes she helps, and sometimes she hurts. Like with most women, we are at their mercy.

When the rain subsides, carefully shake the plants to get excess water off of them.

Does anyone know if the rain could break off crystals? Like when you use a bubble bag in ice water to remove the crystals.

Generally not. The cold is what makes the tricomes brittle and break off: hence the ice in the water. Unless they are subject to freezing rain or snow, the rain should not damage the trics.
