11 years today, the best lyrical person out there can relate to all his songs, not fake like all the rest in my opinion the only true rapper. RIP.

2pac was a lyrical genius, a martyr for urban America, also probably the biggest influence in rap that we may ever see.

Blaze a Blunt for him

RIP
May You never Be Forgotten

aren't any of you tired of saying "tupac was the only motherfucker to speak the truth and write real shit"...??? I know I'm tired of hearing it! Hold on...Let's get something straight real quick, I'm a DJ and I grew up in Los Angeles, west coast hip-hop is my shit. I love almost every one of tupac 256 mainstream released songs. But some credit is due guys. Common, Talib Kweli, The Roots(Black Thought), Mos Def all speak real shit too... not blunts, 40's and bitches... Tupac was definitely the first mainstream "RAPper" (tupac made hip-hop, which is often mistaken for, but never duplicated by, "RAP", and tupac's music is still considered "rap" by almost every club in america) to spit real shit, keep his material new, and show such a deep emotional and passionate side of a man.

I have all the love in the world for tupac and his music. It makes my job a whole lot easier when someone asks for some tupac (every night) I have about 50 hot, classic songs I can pick from.

BUT!!! There is a new generation of artists that are worth listening to. Few and far between, but they're around.

There is no doubt that tupac's music changed the world, wish he was still alive and spittin'.

RIP

First song on my latest old school hip-hop demo is a tupac track. Check it out, link to demo below

TMusic no ones saying that hes the ONLY one out there that talked about real problems and stuff but he was the best at it, and none of the match up to him or even come close and i dont think anyone ever will, thats just my opinion and im sure most of the world would agree with me.

i don't follow... "all the rest" is "all the rest," doesn't matter what time zone you're in. I'm not trying to argue about it either. You should listen to those tracks that I listed, even if I don't have to change your mind, they're all GREAT hip-hop tracks, I'm sure you'll enjoy them all.

This should not get moved to the music boards.

Its not about music at all its about remembering him as a person not about discussing his music.
