Ok so I'm at my school a few hours ago and I had to buy a pack of cigs on the to school...I've been smoking cigarettes for about 2 years now so needless to say im addicted. I'm not working at the moment but I don't expect people to supply my addiction. Well I have only smoked 3 out of my pack so far there so should be 17 left right? wrong 13 everytime i went out for a smoke today moochers found there way to me. I hate to be a dick and say no to people but im beginning to notice its the same people everytime, this is also the case with bud although i do have that problem with my friends... Do any of you have situations with moochers and does it piss you off the way it does me?...i dont understand if you want to smoke bud, cigarettes, drink alcohol, etc why cant you work to get your money like everyone else and SUPPLY YOURSELF! :D

Yea. I got this reputation of being the guy who gives cigarettes out. I realized I was going through a pack a day. So I stopped letting people mooch unless they were good friends and paid back eventually (in cigs). I still feel bad saying no to people. Some people pressure really hard. I hate them but still feel bad.

Yeah they get on my nerves, I only occasionaly ask, I always just say i only got like 3 left sorry bro. But if its someone I know, who will give me a cigg when I need one, I always will give one out. Karma baby, its a beautiful thing. I dont worry about weed, aslong as they arent annoying and like begging, or following me real close around or something. I let people hit the bowl.

The best thing to do is *to* quit. I'm thirty five years old and so sick of smoking. I just won't quit doing it, even when I want to.

I totally feel your pain though, Ganj.... moochers seem to exist everywhere. I dunno how they survive or justify their mooching to themselves, whether it be booze, pot, coke, whatever.

I'd tell them right after you give them two cigarettes, if they ask for one, is "I'm trying to quit, these things are to expensive."

Makes the moocher think about it later.

Of course the hardcore, gonna-die-robbing-a-house-to-get-oxys-addict will just ask you for the rest of your pack.

haha isnt that the truth...to tell u the truth as much as i enjoy this disgusting habit of mine i really gotta quit soon, im 19 yrs old and have only been smoking 2 years and i already have a smokers cough, i move phlem in the shower like im hustlin on the streets and i need to make reup...its ridiculous...if i dont im afraid itll kill me, i cant imagine what itd be like when im chalice's age...hell who knows if ill even be on the planet still

don't be afraid to tell moochers off. Chances are they're not your real friends anyways. People used to always do this to me, now I don't hesitate to say "fuck off get a JOB BUY YOUR OWN". Nice guys finish last, nice guys also get used. There is a difference between being a nice guy and being somebody's doormat.

Sell them like i do. I have actually made money selling them for a quarter and was able to buy more with the profit. And if you start to make your own with a little machine you can really make money thats what i do and i dont even smoke cigs anymore.

20 cigs x 0.25 = 5.00 cigs cost 6 to 7 bucks a pack :(

Well it totally depends on where you live... they used to be $3-$4 a pack where I live, but then they raised the tobacco taxes by a dollar in my state so now a pack costs $5 unless you get cheap gross cigarettes. But when I was in London, they had cigarette machines that sold packs for the equivalent of about $10-$12.

Anyway, back to the main subject: another idea is to pick up a cigarette butt off the ground and offer it to moocher. Then we'll see how desperate for a cig they really are.

yes I have experienced my share of moochers in my life and absolutely pisses me off. I just avoid the moochers now (even those that are my friends). When I used to be confronted by moochers, I would usually help them out, but now I dont care if I am a dick, which I am, I always turn the moochers down; it is the only way that they are going to learn to tend themselves.

this day in time there are so many moochers its hard to give a cig to everyone who asks.. you can always tell the real moochers, the ones too cheap to buy there own and smoke all yours. you ask them why there out and they tell you they quit.. WTF..lol, I have gotten to the point I dont mind saying NO.
